What is the use of OG, if he goes to silent mode??

The thread was last updated more than a year back, the OG is online regularly, but he/she/them never bother to reply on his own thread.

What if someone comes out of blue and starts a story without mentioning the OS?

My point is still the same.

Someone has created a story with his idea and hardwork, so if he doesn't want someone else to continue his work, it shouldn't be allowed.

Regarding your last point, It's mods job to monitor it or most probably it comes into notice when some reader or the original writer reports it.

Btw, if someone wants to write a story of his own on similar idea/theme, they are free to do so.
